As one of Europe’s leading payment service providers, we can make the entire financial supply chain simpler, whether the customer is a multinational corporation, or an SME serving a small local market.
Through Unifiedpost Payments S.A., we have secured a license to act as a payment institute from the Belgian National Bank, allowing us to create accounts and manage payments on our customers’ behalf, completing the order-to-cash value chain.
Unifiedpost offers a payment service for invoice senders, where the customer pays the invoice sent by email via the attached payment link. The payment service can be accessed both via the cover letter sent with invoices by email and in the document sent, as well as via a QR code on printed invoices.
The payment service is value-added service for invoice delivery. The payment option is added to the invoices as a payment link, and the payer can choose their home bank and pay the invoice securely.
The invoice sender can monitor the invoice payment process. Is the invoice open, paid, is it due, or is it overdue? A unique payment link is generated for each invoice, which can be used in different environments and added to reminders, for example, in the self-service portal, in an SMS or in reminder email, etc.
Open Banking is an EU initiative to open up the payment services market which obliges banks, with the consent of the customer, to open access to the customer’s account information to third parties in order to initiate transfers. PSD2 (Payment Service Directive 2) is an amended payment services directive aimed at developing the electronic payments market and creating better conditions for secure and efficient payments.
